The 6th annual Gears & Grub Food Truck and Car Show event roared into action, bringing car enthusiasts, families, and community supporters together with an estimated attendance of over 4,000 people for an unforgettable day of horsepower, entertainment, and fundraising!
This year’s event was more than just a car show—it was a powerful fundraiser in support of Effingham Health System Foundation’s “Strive for $5 Million” campaign. The proceeds will help expand essential healthcare services in cancer care, pediatrics, and senior care, ensuring quality healthcare remains close to home.

Country music star and TV/film star Mark Collie took to the stage, Street Outlaw legend Bobby Ducote showcased his powerhouse hotrod, the 80s Movie Car Showcase featured The General Lee, Daisy’s Jeep, and KITT, An authentic Dale Earnhardt NASCAR race car was on display, we had Monster truck rides and the thrilling Monster Truck Car Crush show, the mind-blowing Phantom Jet Car Dragster, the gravity-defying FMX Stunt Motorcycle Show and more! We had about 400 cars on display with 330 registered to be judged.
Family Fun & Delicious Eats
Gears & Grub wasn’t just for the car fanatics—families had a blast in the HUGE Kid Zone, where children enjoyed face painting, balloon animals, and even the chance to paint a car! Food lovers indulged in an array of delicious offerings from a variety of food trucks, making sure no one went home hungry.

The event raised vital funds for the Effingham Health System Foundation’s campaign. This annual tradition continues to bring the community together, not only for an exciting day of horsepower and fun but also to make a real impact on local healthcare.
