Effingham Health System Foundation launched its “Strive for $5 Million” capital campaign in early 2025 to support the expansion of three high-demand healthcare service lines: cancer care, pediatrics, and senior care. Par for a Purpose Golf Tournament was founded this year by the Foundation to raise campaign funds and awareness among business and community leaders.
Participants arrived early, greeted with warm smiles, coffee, and breakfast, setting a positive tone for the day. The beautifully maintained course provided the perfect backdrop as teams teed off in a friendly yet competitive scramble format.
The tournament concluded with a celebratory luncheon and awards ceremony, where top teams were recognized for their performances. More importantly, heartfelt thanks were extended to the sponsors whose support made the event possible. Their contributions played a crucial role in ensuring that proceeds directly benefit vital healthcare services in the Effingham County area.
